AstraZeneca "Delayed approval of the US FDA, supply only in the middle of next year"
Adrian Hill, head of the Jenner Institute at Oxford University, who is working on a vaccine for a novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19 ) in collaboration with pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca, said on the 9th (local time) that if the US delays approval of the vaccine, it will be available only in the second half of next year.
In an interview with NBC , Dr. Hill said, "I want the Food and Drug Administration ( FDA ) to review the vaccine data, including the data coming out next month. If we wait for the clinical trial to end, it will be after mid-next year."
Earlier, Dr. Larry Corey, who is in charge of testing the safety of the Corona 19 vaccine in the United States, explained that the controversy over the results of the clinical trial of the AstraZeneca vaccine last week will verify the effectiveness and safety of the vaccine.
